The New Writers Sprint Live Event (Sydney, Melbourne, Freemantle )

There’s nothing better than writing and writing fast. Bring on the world famous 15 minute writers’ sprint. But it’s when we add circle based diagnostic reflection it becomes electric. We look forward to writing, breaking bread and “reflecting” with you. The Maybanke Community Centre, 99 Harris Street, Pyrmont. After a short break, ‘cone of silence’ reflection begins with Q&A on each piece.  By 7pm that evening you will be emailed part one of five Set One Stories. Your mission overnight is to type your scene and print it. You are aiming for no more than 500 words for Sunday morning. At 10:45am Sun at Mantra Hotel Restaurant we’ll commence with The Sensory Assignment/Circle and over some of the best coffee in town the coaches will be ready to listen and contribute to your Sprint scene in evolution. Another four units follow for draft one of Set One. Draft two grads will be ready to publish online with book cover and interview.
